Motor Learning Program

High Intensity. High Outcomes

QLI’s Motor Learning Program is an intensive outpatient therapy service offering an individualized program delivered by a trained team specialized in neurological and orthopedic rehabilitation.

The program’s framework emphasizes high-intensity, focused practice centered on real-life tasks, helping clients regain lost movement and control—ultimately enabling you to perform daily activities more independently.

About the Program

Life doesn’t happen within the walls of a therapy gym and neither should your rehabilitation program. Traditional outpatient or day programs have limited technology, are restricted by clinic walls and traditional treatment modalities.

We are different. We think outside of the box – literally. We are experienced in neurological injury and can provide a level of creativity and intensity that will provide next-level outcomes and delivered in a way that is both engaging and functional.

Each program begins with a comprehensive evaluation. The results of this evaluation are used to build personalized training sessions focusing on your specific areas of need and the goals you hope to achieve. The program will include:

  • One hour physical therapy treatment session
  • One hour fitness training
  • One hour adaptive sports

All stages are tailored to your needs and delivered by a qualified rehabilitation professional in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Program Eligibility

Candidates for the Motor Learning Program must be able to independently navigate QLI’s campus, to independently carry out a prescribed fitness routine, and have specific goals for motor function.

My experience with the motor learning program was outstanding! I wanted to be able to live at home while having excellent care for PT/OT. I worked with Anna, who took time to get to know me and evaluate my needs. I would highly recommend QLI to anyone looking for great care if you want to live at home.

The Motor Learning Program was the perfect opportunity for me to prepare to move home. I was lucky enough to live in House 4 for ten months but living at home independently would’ve been a huge challenge for me. The additional months I spent on campus learning to live independently in the Smart Apartment and doing high intensity physical therapy made me strong enough and confident enough to move home and go back to work, with very few issues. Having access to the gait lab, Hydroworx, Adaptive Sports, and Fitness Center made The Motor Learning Program the best possible situation for focused rehabilitation. Thank you QLI.
